New Mexico Guest House

The Guest House has great views and two bedrooms and two baths. The master is large, with a king sized bed, a fireplace and a tub-shower in the bath. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed with a shower in the bath. There is a queen-sized sofa bed in the living room.


The Guest House is a traditional Santa Fe Pueblo Style home. There are vigas and rounded plaster walls in all the rooms. The furnishings are mostly antique.

The house has a small dining area, a fully-equipped kitchen, a washer/dryer, cable TV, Wi-Fi high-speed Internet service, a living room with a fireplace and three French doors looking out over the adobe-walled patio to the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and the Santa Fe Ski Basin.

We are in Tesuque, the area on the north side of town where the Santa Fe Opera is located, in walking distance of the Tesuque Village Market, El Nido Restaurant, and Shidoni Sculpture Garden and Foundry.

We are on two and a half acres. Though there are other homes in the area, it's basically rural yet just over five minutes from downtown Santa Fe. We can provide free parking at my office in town five blocks from the Plaza.

From the guest house there's a short hike to the Rio Tesuque and Shidoni Sculpture Garden. There are other hikes in the area. We can also direct you to hikes and cross-country ski trails in the National Forest not far away, some along creeks, and trips to little-known Anasazi ruins in the Jemez Mountains, Bandelier National Monument, Tent Rocks National Monument with a slot-canyon hike, a drive through the magnificent Valle Grande to a classic Western bar/saloon in the village of Jemez Springs, and other sites.

The rates are
$150 per night for one or two, $195 for 3 or 4, $225 for 5 and $250 for 6.
Indian Market and Christmas weeks are $1500 with a weekly minimum.
Thanksgiving Week is $1000 with a four-day minimum.
There is a 10% discount for two weeks and a 20% discount for a month or more.

There is a three-night minimum for all other stays.


Reservations can be made with a note or phone call followed by a 50% percent deposit by check. When we receive your check, we send a confirmation with directions.
