Hunting the magnificent buffalo in a
traditional manners is unequaled in excitement and adventure. Our hunts
will enable you to relive a bygone era using methods that were used over a
century ago.
Locating your trophy on a ranch this
size makes for a true hunt. You will be hunting bison from a native herd
that roams the mystical and enchanting hills of the Southwest.
Buffalo are the largest North
American game animal and it requires big bullets to stop them. Buffalo are
unpredictable and elusive which makes it hard to determine when and where you
will be successful, but we do guarantee the hunt, and the hunter can participate
in the field dressing. Head, cape for mounting, and meat are the property
of the hunter. Meat processing fees are not included, although we will
make arrangements. Transportation on the hunt will be horseback, and for
those unable to ride, a buckboard or stage coach will be provided.
We pride ourselves in offering the
most authentic reproduction of the hunts of yester-year. Several hunt packages and options
are available. Packages start at $1,500. We can accommodate your
budget and desire!
Our buffalo camp is traditional.
It includes a large TeePee, hunter cabin, cook cabin, horse corrals, saddle
barn, and skinning tree. You'll have no doubt you're in the rugged
Turquoise hills of Santa Fe! you'll be amazed at the peaceful, juniper
covered landscape. Just minutes from downtown Santa Fe.
